The GORRICK COOL MOUNTAIN BIKE CHALLENGE this SUNDAY!

This weekend brings the Gorrick Team’s hugely popular annual TVT Cool Off Road Challenge.  Based at Charlton Sport and Leisure Centre, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 3LF the event is a fully way marked and supported off road sportive which raises funds for the Hants and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Service.  There’s a choice of either a 45 or 30km route, both of which feature the glorious ‘Woods’ singletrack section.   

Registration opens at 8.30am and riders may start from then until 10.30am with the course closing at 4pm. Start and Finish times will be recorded for all categories and published online. You can expect friendly water/energy food and drink stops along the way and hot and cold refreshments will be available throughout the day at the Finish.  Other facilities include easy parking, a bike mechanic, computer timing, mobile 4X4 marshals, changing rooms, showers, bike washing and the HIOWAA display.  Each rider will receive a free TORQ energy bar and a completion memento and be in with a chance of winning a biking weekend break courtesy of the sponsors Saddle Skedaddle 

There a is reduced entry for Over 65s and young riders under 16 ride for FREE with an adult – so why not take the family along?  You can just turn up and enter on the day.  You can check Gorrick’s face book or Twitter for any final instructions or updates.
