South West Champs

The South West Champs has had a bit of a holiday...infact we can't even remember when the last one was. But all that is going to change with the help of new South West magazine Shred West and Devon based shopy Battery Cycle Works and XCracer.com. Expect a challenging but fun course
race details:
All races will start from the main event field at Newnham at 1200. Course practice will be available from 1000-1145 on the morning of the event only. The course will include 2 main climbs and some of the great singletrack Newnham is known for. All in close proximity for spectators. On site there will be parking, toilets, water, catering and the Battery Cycle Works trade stand for last minute supplies.
Course is confirmed as 4.8 miles and laps will be
1 Juvenile
2 Youth
3 Junior/Vet/Open/Grand Vet
4 Master
5 Senior
1 less for adult female classes
entry details:
Pick up an enry form from your local bike shop or enter online in the XCracer online entry section. To be eligible to be crowned South West Champion you need to be a BC racing licence holder, enter in your category of licence, pre enter by July 10 and most importantly have a home addresss with the following postcodes:

EX
PL
TA
TQ
TR
You do not need to meet these criteria to take part, infact you don't need to meet any of them, to take part but it is a must if you want to be crowned South West Champion 2008.
This event is Category D for National Ranking Points.
