This is a bit delayed, but here goes!! This night time event is on my doorstep, so if work allows, i always like to have a go. Exposure Big Night Out is an enduro, mainly off road that takes place in the dark. So it is essential that you have a good set of lights!! The ride takes in a lot of my local trails, so it may seem a bit strange to pay for the privilege of riding them. But what i love is the atmosphere and it doubles up as really good training.

The ride got underway around 7.45pm and there was a big group of strong riders including Nick Craig, Johnny Pugh, Matt Page, James Lister and Anthony O 'Boyle to name a few.

Although the ride is not technically a race it is certainly not ridden at a leisurely pace! As always the course was outstanding, and even had a small section which was totally unknown to me!! However, i will certainly be incorporating that bit of the ride into my weekly rides.

I crossed the line in 4th place, but pretty much neck and neck with 3rd, which was a really pleasing result, and to top the ride off, you were rewarded with a mug of tea and slice of cake!!

Once again a huge tanks to my sponsors, especially Exposure Lights!! as they were awesome!
