Ritchey Bristol Bikefest 2016

Summer 2016 - Ashton Court is once again host to the Ritchey Bristol Bikefest one of the most loved cycle events in the country. The event, set in the heart of Bristol is a permanent fixture in the UK biking calendar and has been drawing riders from all over the country since it began 14 years ago. The date for this spectacle is the 11-12th June 2016.

For 2016 the all weather course in Ashton Court will once more be the battle ground of the Bikefest. Properly tested during the rather changeable weather conditions Bristol endures on a regular bases, the course managed to hold up perfectly and has put lots of smiles on riders when coming over the finish line since its full launch at the end of 2011.

The event will be based at the top part of Ashton Court, Bristol. As the racing starts at 9.00am, most riders arrive on Friday afternoon to check out the course (open from 5.00pm onwards) and to ease into an action packed cycling and camping weekend. As in 2015 there will be DJs playing some tunes on Friday evening with the bar and caterers in the event village ready to set you up for a weekend of flat out racing. Saturday night will see the main finisher party.

The Bikefest is returning to the grounds of the Bristol Cathedral Choir School allowing us to have camping and event village in one location and be based right next to the track. It also gives the event access to great shower, running water and changing facilities.
