Mountain bike navigation events using Ordinance Survey maps under the rules of British Mountain Bike Orienteering (BMBO)

Events based in and around West Yorkshire, with the Peak District and the Yorkshire Dales, on our door step.

OA currently organise Mountain Bike Orienteering (MBO) Summer League during June, July, August And September These comprise of a series of 5 x 3 hour events on Sunday morning.

On the day of the event all entrants are issued with an A4 colour OS map which is over printed with all relevant information including locations of check points . As you exit the start you then receive a list of check point descriptions and values (not all check points have any value) all you have to do is decide on your route jump on your bike then navigate your way to as many checkpoints as possible within the time limit

Entries are welcome and encouraged from all abilities, you can enter as solo or pairs.

All maps are provided all you need is a working bike, a helmet and a sense of adventure!
