The Solstice100 is a single loop mtb sportive approximately 100 miles in length and is one of the longest events of it's kind that's currently running in the UK.

The route, 60 percent off-road, leaves Northampton and will visit the rolling countryside of Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. Highlights include the woodlands of Woburn and Chicksands.

The event HQ is located at the bike friendly Pomfret Arms pub in Northampton where signing on takes place from 5.30am. The pub is brewing a beer for the occasion and there'll be music and food available post ride.

The entry cost is just £20 and part of the proceeds will be going to The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
