12:12 Torq in Your Sleep - 25th August

"This established and much loved endurance race run by the Gorrick folk over the August Bank Holiday weekend, aims to get your mountain bike juices flowing over a fun crammed 8 mile circuit, guaranteeing you'll be talking about this event when you're awake too!!

Entries are still up for grabs if you fancy a blast around some fabled Gorrick trails, your choice whether you want to go the whole hog racking up as many laps as you can over12 hours or if that sounds too much like hard work opt for the 6hr. If you're more of a team player, round up some mates to join in the fun and spread the load whilst you soak up the laid back atmosphere in the arena. 

Don't forget your efforts could get you some great rewards and you don't have to be on the podium to pick up a cracking prize with a host of brilliant spot prizes up for grabs from our generous sponsors. Plus everyone gets a beer when the clock strikes midnight too!!

The weekend kicks off at 3pm Saturday with a mini enduro for the youngsters, where everyone gets a memento.  Then at 4pm it's girlie time as She Torq's takes to the trails. For 1 lap the ladies can check out the course under the careful guidance of National Marathon Champion Sally Bigham, before heading back to base to indulge in a spot of general bike chit chat whilst munching chocolates and sipping Pimms! All proceeds will be heading off to the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Service.

The main event gets underway midday Sunday, with the a fresh influx of eager 6 hr riders joining the course at 3pm.

Our myriad of sponsors will have booths in the arena for you to mooch, whilst Quaver Catering will keep your thirst sated and your hunger at bay with their extensive range of  munchies!
