Southern XC Round 1 Checkendon 18th March Preview

With under 2 weeks to go before the start of the Southern XC Series for 2012 the crew have been busy preparing the Checkendon course. The trails have been cleared and blown and are looking good, we have even managed to find some more singletrack to increase the lap slightly and keep you on your toes.
Expect a similar course to last year but we will turn some sections around and run them in the other direction. We have a couple of new technical sections too with drop offs but this time of year they double as ponds so we might be saving them for the Rampages later in the year. Pre-entries close at midnight on the 14th March so save yourself some time on the day and pre-enter here now!

We have new caterers Scrumptious Catering and being mountainbikers they know whats good for us. Paul Robinson will be on course shooting another great video and our new official photographer R&R Photos will be there too. 1st Gear cycles will be on hand as usual for any last minute parts you might need and will have their usual bargains on display for you to browse over when you are not racing. Charlotte McDonald will be on hand should you need a pre or post race massage and you will be able to stock up on the excellent Sponsor Sport Foods who will also be providing prizes for some categories.
