Devils Stair Case

Today is the first time this year that I've managed to ride my local tough training ride over the Devils stair case and on round the Llynne Brianne Reservoir. Due to the weather over the past couple months this ride has been pretty much off limits!

 

So with the sun shining I decided today would be a good day for the ride despite a frost the night before. The ride starts from my house in Builth Wells and kind of does a figure of eight loop around some of the most scenic riding mid Wales has to offer in my opinion. It's certainly not an easy one either with a load of climbing and the Devils Stair Case is over 25% in places! (Which I managed to crash on the climb, bloody ice)

 

So if you're ever in the mid Wales area and fancy a tough 60mile ride this is one to bear in mind!
