Maddie/Jay, thank you on so many levels for putting together a fantastic weekend' s event that included a proper XC course (I just need some legs now), an awesome atmosphere (especially around kong & cottage carnage), great catering (if only more organisers would sack off the burger vans), cleaned loos and not to forget, the sun.

As per your 'Who Killed XC racing' blog post......more like the older Salty days!

The course was brilliant and whilst the climbs were brutal the technical sections were awesome and it made for a rewarding course.

Ditto! Awesome course! British Cycling need to ditch some of the other venues and get more proper mtb courses like this on the calendar! Thanks so much to the organisers, marshals and the great crowds at the technical features.

Great event
Great racing, great course, great atmosphere and really well organised
Entertainment, good food, beer, running water available and toilets that were actually usable.

Really well done to all those that made it happen

Course was brilliant, climbs a little tough for me but that's a lack of training on my part. The descents were just awesome when taken at race pace, was very frustrating on Saturday though having to queue up to ride them in the small window we have for afternoon practice. Not sure I agree with the comments about good food though, I tried to find some pasta or a jacket potato and nothing but burgers hot dogs and pasties etc in one trailer. The fresh oven cooked pizzas looked very nice but not want I really want to eat before a race. Steve
