Only a little more than a couple of weeks to go before the HALO Oktoberfest powered by Heritage Volkswagen gets on the way in Ashton Court, Bristol.

Entries
Entries have been flying in over the last few weeks with the 2014 event being on course to overtake the very popular 2013 edition of the Oktoberfest. Extremely popular are the solos again which leaves us no choice but to close all solo categories on Monday midnight.

So make sure you get your entry in at the Oktoberfest Entry Page and if you don’t know your team members yet – don’t worry just get your entry in and you can tell us the other members later on. For all other details on the Bristol Oktoberfest please go to www.bike-fest.com.

Arrive early, get some free stuff and join the fun!
On Friday we will have the South Coast Sprint guys with us for some indoor roller racing. Ideal to get warmed up for Saturday’s racing action and to potentially win yourself a few beers.

Racing starts at 8pm and we will have a special HAPPY HOUR from 8-9pm where you get three beers for the price of two.

And to give you even more reason to join the HALO Oktoberfest on Friday our friends from ISON Distribution have donated 100 limited edition (especially done for the Oktoberfest) ODI LOCK-on grips (they are ODI Ruffians with red custom laser-etched clamp) for the first 100 people who come in person to the registration to sign on.

Event opening times and registration times
The venue and the course are open from 3pm on Friday onwards with the Friday registration being open from 5 – 8pm. The bar will be opening around the same time. Roller racing will start at 8pm with our HAPPY HOUR runs from 8-9pm on Friday.

The registration re-opens on Saturday at 7am and will stay open till 8.15am. We will re-open for the PM 4 hour event from 10am – 12noon.

Charity Sale continues @ OKTOBFERFEST….
We have lots of products left from the Steve Worland Charity Sale which we run at the Bikefest in June. There is some great stuff from Mavic, Sram, Rock Shox, Camelback etc which we will have once again on offer for a great price.

Make sure you bring some extra cash so that you can grab yourself a bargain and help us to put more money towards the Psoriasis charity and Steve’s memorial bench.
