This year has been pretty amazing really, I've had the pride of racing in the Fully Sussed strip and have been able to travel up and down the country to race my bike along with having great people to ride with. The support I've had from Fully Sussed and Silverfish has been amazing, with new bikes and endless hours of training I couldn't be more grateful.

Us pros on the rollers

My last race in camo was the Southern Cyclo Cross Champs last weekend and I was very pleased to come away as U16 champion. It was a hard race with typical cyclo cross fields and some tight wooded areas among it. On the start line it came to my realisation that I was going to at a disadvantage being the only one on a mountain bike. As cyclo cross isn't my main priority of the year I decided to get on with and have as much fun as possible but of course try and win! I did have fun and the only time I fell off was on a flat grass corner (flat grass corner, I'm ashamed of myself) and my pit bitch and I managed to do a swift bike change. I even managed to run into the running board, which is a new one for me!

After 30 minutes of racing, I crossed the line with an U16 girls win and second girl overall. It was a great way to finish my time racing for Fully Sussed, the atmosphere of the race was fantastic and I came away with £20 pocket money along with a few other bits. A massive well done to Kris Pratt and all of his helpers who put on the race it was awesome!

The Southern Champs was also my first race on my new Specialised Stump Jumper and I have to say I'm quite fond of it! After completing my amazing year with Fully Sussed, I'm really excited to be riding for Certini next year. The support and help I've had already has been great and I'm really looking forward to next years adventures I will have with them.

One of the successful times!
To finalise, thank you so so much to Fully Sussed and Silverfish for this amazing year. Thanks to my chief chef and pit bitch (mum and dad) and to everyone helped with training and at races. And thank you to Certini for taking me on as a rider next year.

P.S. I didn't get the usual grammar and general check from mum so sorry for anything that doesn't make sense!
