It's been a long time coming but finally the National Mountain Bike Championships return the Midlands. Following on from organising 2 very successful rounds of the National Mountain Bike Series, Run And Ride have stepped up to host the Championships for 2017 at their home play ground of Cannock Chase.
Expect a full weekend of thrilling racing as riders do battle for the converted National Jersey. A newly designed course will be constructed full of fast flowing singletrack and challenging technical sections and short steep climbs suitable of a National Championships.
The weekend is not just about the best riders in the UK. We've also got a full schedule of support races suitable for beginners / first timers to fun riders and children. Spectators will find plenty to keep them entertained. As well as the racing we'll have some of the biggest cycle companies in the UK exhibiting in the race village. Top quality caterers offering refreshments plus get up close with the trade teams and the top riders
