The Border Raid 2014

The Border Raid is a non competitive XC Endurance Challenge with a choice of two distances.

The 40km loop, or the full "Border Raid" (to Newcastleton and back) of 100kms.

An exciting new challenge to test your skill and stamina in the stunning Kielder Forest.

Each route is fully way marked and consists of forest roads, man made trails and some "off piste" sections to keep you on your toes.

Remember this is a charity event and all proceeds are split between the Kielder Trail Reavers, the Great North Air Ambulance and Mountain Rescue.

Entries only accepted online - £35 for the 40km and £50 for the 100km.

There is an Early Bird discount of £5 for all entries received before April 30th.

Soup and a sandwich afterwards is included in the entry fee.

So, don't miss out on this unique challenge taking in some of the more remote parts of the border region.
