My arse hurts from turbo training, I have shin splints, a headache in the evenings from running with a buggy, my son brought worms home last week - and I'm not talking about the earth kind, It's wet, cold, muddy, windy and dark and I have no money - it's January.
Last week I really needed a pick me up - it was either Wolf Blass to save me or another completely unexpected gift from heaven - the loan of a full sus, premium carbon XC Santa Cruz. Thank you God - thank you Santa Cruz! I don't think even a gynecologist would recognize the war zone if I had continued using a hard tail for 24 hours. Sorry for being frank - but that is just the sort of fact one has to take into consideration!
I am once again in happy land keen to tick off days of training and feel those little muscles develop in my thighs I haven't said hello to for a very long time!
I have a great clean house after the worms fiasco so apart from entertaining Millie, being a parent helper in Isaac's assembly, and helping Freya with her Rainforest's project I have a free schedule.
This weeks target: get over weak cold (not anything life-threatening like man flu I am pleased to report), power up on super fruits, check children scrub their hands before dinner and turbo turbo turbo!
