The big question, what to write about 24/12?  The obvious story line is becoming, well frankly, quite monotonous.  You've guessed it rain, mud and flood water everywhere…

The conditions were undoubtedly exceptional.  After years of photographing the Soggy Bottoms, winter series, at Newnham, I've certainly never before been compared to Tom Daley as I nearly tripped over into the Bomb Holes!…

The 'luck of the Irish' was in not being furry…

Given the conditions, it was great to see lots of Peter Sagan style celebrations…

And some awesome bike tricks…

Unsurprisingly the conditions took their toll at times…

Overall, definitely a tribute to all that rear mech' failures out-numbered sense of humour failures…

And finally a big 'thank you' to the organisers and course team who worked so hard through adversity.
