So it was unimaginably tiring and your legs have only just recovered, but face it, one of these days you'll relent on that vow never to ride a 12 or 24 hour solo again!  With this in mind, and after many hours of sifting through mountains of photographic evidence, here is Snapper Chick's definitive guide to the things you simply couldn't do another twentyfour12 without:-

 

Starting with the obvious.  A tent that defies gravity...

 

 

The first ever 24 hour solo tandem.  Pretty impressive.  Anyone know if they supply one complete with a fit young man to ride it with?

 

 

In the sleep deprived haze that was Sunday morning I thought this man has some serious tattoos.  Actually arm warmers with pink flowers on.  Essential accessory for the tough, manly mountain biker!

 

 

Good guess at a light collection worth more than my bike.  Actually the awesome, new Exposure Diablo.  Just ignore what that dirty minded member of your mtb gang says about the shape of it…

 

 

Ah, so cute!  Could hardly do an all night race without a cuddly toy!

 

 

And finally, this cycling jersey really speaks for itself...
