Sponsors Announced by Mountain Trax - Vauxhall Motors Cycling Team

The Mountain Trax – Vauxhall Motors Cycling Team welcomes 5 new sponsors for 2014.

SCOTT step up as our main product sponsor providing bikes for riders to race and train on. The team will be piloting the SCOTT Scale RC and Spark RC bikes at races around the world. SCOTT’s 2014 HMX fibre frames offer unrivalled stiffness, light weight, and comfort. SCOTT are also providing hardware such as helmets, shoes, and gloves to the team.

Syncros was founded in 1986 and was one of the first high end bike brands. After recent ownership changes the brand has a new team of engineers to create outstanding products and recreate the brand’s original iconic status. Mountain Trax – Vauxhall Motors Cycling Team is proud to welcome back Syncros for another year and we look forward to riding the FL1.0 carbon product range in 2014.

Sram, Rockshox, and Avid are new sponsors to the Mountain Trax – Vauxhall Motors Cycling Team. The team have used the Sram XX1 groupset since its launch so the riders welcome Sram on board with open arms. To pair this up with Rockshox and Avid creates a perfect match of top end products that our elite riders require. The team will be equipped with the top of the range Rockshox Sid XX World Cup 29er forks.

Vermont Images has become an irreplaceable sponsor over the last few years with John not only producing fantastic photos of the team but also offering fantastic support to the riders at events all around the world. No matter what the conditions or challenge John is there to keep the team in one piece. Vermont Images specialises in Wedding and Sports Photography.

USN continue their support of the team with the riders using the brand’s Performance range of Electrolyte and Recovery Drink, plus Energy Gels. Recently launched the delicious new Energy Bar is a welcome addition which you’ll see riders munching on at many an event.

Champion Systems will again provide the team with great looking high quality custom team kit and casual wear. With the riders spending so many hours training it’s important to keep comfortable even in the worst of conditions and on the longest of days. With offices in over 22 countries Champion Systems is now a global operation.

Weldtite are another new sponsor for Mountain Trax – Vauxhall Motors Cycling Team. The British company which was established 70 years ago now supplies customers in over 40 countries and continues to grow thanks to its extensive range and continuing innovation. Weldtite will support the team with Cleaners, Lubricants, and Workshop Tools.

Rotor join us for 2014 providing the team with the new lightweight Rex Chainsets and their innovative QX1 Narrow Wide Chainrings. The Rotor oval chainrings create a more efficient pedal stroke reducing fatigue and saving energy for that last lap effort.

Schwalbe will once again support the team with their vast range of class leading tyres. With new additions like the lightening fast Thunder Burt we now have a tyre to suit all conditions. We are delighted to have Schwalbe UK on board for another year. As the year progresses we’ll be keeping followers updated with our tyre choices and tyre pressures.

Lezyne’s high quality tools and accessories help keep the Mountain Trax – Vauxhall Motors Cycling Team bikes maintained to the standards our riders require. The trails tools such as the Alloy Drive CO2 Inflator and Stainless Multi Tools keep us going when disaster strikes out on the trails. The Port A Shop mechanics set can be seen around the world in feed tech zones with our trusty support crew ready to fix any issue. The newly released Digital Floor Pumps which are equipped with a Digital Pressure Gauge will be one of the key tools in our arena pitches as the riders dial in their tyre setup.

Exposure Lights continue their sponsorship of the Mountain Trax – Vauxhall Motors Cycling Team. In 2013 the team used the Reflex and Diablo to win the European and National 12 Hour Titles, 24 Twelve, plus the Gorrick 12 hour solo and team of 4. These lights not only allow us to ride just as fast at night as we do in the day but they also keep us safe during our long hours of winter training. The Exposure Lights will play a key role in Tim’s quest for a top result at World 24 Hour Championships in October.
