Milton Antibacterial Fabric Solution

Breaking news for all you bachelors out there - you club/team kit stinks! Yes, you follow the care label (machine wash gentle, 30°C, detergent, no softener) but that doesn't kill the bacteria that causes the pong - you need a higher temperature for that, a higher temperature that will trash polyester and other man made fabrics. If you 'sponsor yourself', then there are a few expensive jerseys out there which use fabrics that include some merino wool or silver thread in the mix to counter the stink, but the chances of your team/club kit being made from that is very unlikely...

A solution lies in an aisle of the supermarket that you never venture down, but hides some useful products including wet wipes, emergency chamois cream and cheap energy food: the baby aisle. Baby clothes are as delicate as our lycra skinsuits and bacteria does not combine well with babies, so products such as Milton's Antibacterial Fabric Solution prove to be ideal at making kit smell as good as new. It's not as cheap as budget washing powder, but you can't put a price on friends and family being willing to stand within walking distance of you when you're dressed in your Sunday finest.

Next, a solution for getting your white kit white again...
