Otherwise known as the the best reason to live in the East Midlands! The light evenings are here and that means the 18th season of this popular series has started.
Round one got underway this evening at Burrough Hill near Daventry, with a healthy turnout and a cracking course. A nice blast around the top, some great singletrack and a couple of cheeky climbs. Big dog all the way (if a 38t counts...)
Racing at it's simplest and most fun - turn up, maybe grab a quick lap if there's time, then blast round for 45 mins, no stress, no hassle. Followed by a cheeky one down a local pub straight after. All good!
If you can skive off work early on Friday then I'd def. recommend heading over to check out a round. Chapeau to the organisers, grass roots racing at it's best!
