Sunday 26 February sees the second event in the Gorrick Skedaddle Spring Series. A cross country racing event that can be enjoyed either as a stand alone or as part of the ongoing Series. It takes place at Crowthorne Wood, Crowthorne, Berks, RG45 6AR which is always a firm favourite with riders. The course starts with the iconic short uphill that leads into a fast fire road descent before opening out into lovely smooth flowing singletrack. Spectators love this friendly event too as the final descent is full of great viewing spots.
There'll be full event facilities and, as this is a Gorrick event, there's a wide choice of categories for riders of all abilities from age 8 upwards. Online entry is on this web site and you can find full details about this popular event at http://www.gorrick.com/racing/spring/info.php.
The Series is headline sponsored by Saddle Skedaddle www.skedaddle.co.uk who lead the way in innovative cycling holidays both in the UK and worldwide and supported by some of your favourite local bike shops which means that there is a large prize pool. There are trophies to be won on the podium at this round as well as the Series awards.
