The Series is headline sponsored by Saddle Skedaddle who lead the way in innovative cycling holidays both in the UK and worldwide, and supported by loads of your favourite local bike shops which means that there is a large prize pool of both winners and spot prizes.
There are categories for riders of all ages and abilities - online entry is open now on this web site and full event details are at www.gorrick.com.
By entering this event you agree to the following terms and conditions:These Terms & Conditions apply to all entrants participating in a Cross Country or Enduro mountain bike event (herein referred to as Events) organised by Gorrick MBC (herein referred to as Gorrick). By purchasing an entry online or by the completion of an entry form, every participant acknowledges his or her acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Each participant is fully responsible for their actions at the event venue including prior, during and after the event. Parents or legal guardians are fully responsible for the actions of participants under the age of 18 years.
Each participant agrees that they are physically capable of riding the event that they have chosen and do so entirely at their own risk.
Each participant confirms that the bicycle and equipment they are riding is in good working order and agrees to wear a properly adjusted hard shell bicycle helmet at all times whilst cycling at the event. Gorrick reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone with bicycle or equipment that is unsafe or inappropriate.
Each participant is responsible for assessing their ability to ride the marked route of the event prior to their race, by riding a practice lap of it. The marking of the route does not necessarily indicate that the race route is rideable and the participant is must make their own decision about whether to proceed on a bicycle, on foot or not at all.
Payment of the Event Entry Fee to Gorrick does not include any insurance protection for an accident to, the sickness of or the negligence to or of any individual participant. Any accident or injury caused by a rider’s action will be the full responsibility of that rider. Each participant is responsible for having their own insurance protection for their participation in the event.
Each participant completing an online entry or an entry form must be aged 18 years or over. A participant under the age of 18 years must have their online entry or entry form completed by a parent or legal guardian who is aged 18 years or over.
Each participant must provide their date of birth and is solely responsible for entering the appropriate age related category or the entrant may be excluded. A participant giving false details or date of birth will have an invalid entry and will be excluded from the event and any future events organised by Gorrick.
Gorrick will offer transfers or refunds of entry fees for any event that is postponed or cancelled prior to the day of the event. Gorrick will not be liable for any costs incurred by a participant in association with the delay, alteration, postponement, abandonment, curtailment or cancellation of an event for whatever reason.
If a participant wishes to change category, it can only be done at the event at the discretion of Gorrick MBC, for an additional £3 charge.
On the day of the event, if a participant is not on the Pre-entered Participants List and has no receipt to show proof of entry, then they will be deemed not to have entered the event.
Entries are not transferable to another rider under any circumstances. Both the entrant transferring their entry to another rider, and the other rider concerned, will be excluded from future Gorrick events.
If a participant cannot attend an event then, any transfer or refund of entry is at the discretion of Gorrick MBC.
Gorrick reserves the right to refuse an entry to an event, at any time and from any person, without giving a specific reason why it has done so.
