5 Weeks Until Round 1...

I went to the venue to have a good look round with course designer & West Drayton MBC head honcho Chris Denman and as usual he's done a fantastic job, the course offers something for everyone (except maybe the mountain goats but your time will come later in the series) as there is a great mix of tight single track, flowing trails, some fire roads to be sure that over taking is easy and safe and of course it wouldn't be Black Park if there weren't a few small bomb holes to keep you on your toes. Despite the recent wet weather there were only 2 notable parts of the course that were muddy and neither lasted more that a few meters so hopefully Mother Nature will be on our side and we they will have dried out before race day.

We have also found a great area that will be exclusively for the BC coaching that is available to all riders that are in the Youth Category and younger and thanks to the BC volunteer coaches there is no additional charge for this as it will all be included in your entry fee
