Dust off your 'cross bikes! The KinesisUK 'Hell of the West' Cyclo-X Sportive will show that there's a lot more to Dartmoor than epic views and ponies. Badged as a Cyclo-X Sportive the Hell of the West is also open to riders on 26ers, 29ers and maybe even the odd 650b. It's a run what you brung 100km epic that should see the fittest duelling it out for a chance to win a Kinesis Pro 6 frame and the rest of us taking in a challenge that will be etched on our brains for a lifetime.

KinesisUK will be bringing their new Kinesis CX bikes, and the Kinesis Morvelo Project team aim to set some fast Strava segment times. The National Trust are hosting the event from the lovely Parke Estate in Devon whilst PacificHealth are providing Accelerade and R4 sport drinks to give riders a much needed boost during and after the event.

Event organiser SpikePR's Simon Young said, "We've got a truly memorable course that is not only scenic, but varied and challenging". "If you want a fast time you'll have to really work hard for it!" Backed up with with some great prizes for entrants and finishers alike it's shaping up to become the new classic Dartmoor event"

Members of the press please contact us if you'd like to be involved with a pre-event ride of the route (with a few beers along the way) and a chance to check out the new Kinesis Pro 6 Disc.
