Orange Monkey Pro Team is delighted to welcome the Langkawi International Mountain Bike Challenge, in association with Human Voyage as its headline sponsor for 2013.

The LIMBC stage race - inaugurated in 2010 - is the biggest Mountain Bike stage race in Asia with athletes such as Fabian Giger (Giant Pro XC Team), Chris Froome (Sky Pro Cycling) and the late Burry Stander taking to the hot, picturesque trails that this race has to offer. It is becoming known around the world as a "must do" mtb stage race for both cycling enthusiasts and professional athletes alike.

Paul Beales, the teams PR manager commented, "We are very excited to be working with such a unique and inspirational events team that are pushing to become one of the best competitions in the world. We can't wait to fly to Langkawi in October and compete in this race for the first time".

For 2013, Orange Monkey Pro Team will be racing aboard Polygon Bikes. This Indonesian brand, one of the most up and coming on the world scene, sponsoring world class Mountainbike freeriders Yannick Granieri and Sam Reynolds as well as professional Road and Downhill teams. Head of marketing at Polygon Bikes, Yustian Nimara, commented "we are excited to have Orange Monkey Pro Team on-board for 2013 season and we believe with their experience and attitude towards racing at the highest level it will bring us lots of good input towards product development and consistent push in young athletes development."

The team will race the Cozmic RX29 3.0 29er Mountain Bike and compete as a UCI world team for the third year in succession, concentrating on the UCI World Cup Series, as well as selected European events & the British and South African National races.

Two new exciting additions to the team are the Serbian National Champion and World under 23 athlete Jovana Crnogorac and British first year Junior athlete Billy Harding. Jovana is one of the most exciting prospects in the world and at just 20 years of age is a real promise for the future. Billy has proven throughout his time in the Youth category that he is a born winner, taking the British National title in 2012 and most recently being selected, as a Junior, for the Cyclo-Cross World Championships.

Alongside Jovana and Billy, Orange Monkey Pro Team is proud to announce the re-signing of David Fletcher of Great Britain, Rourke Croeser current African Continental & South African U23 National Champion and Ben Roff of Great Britain to complete a strong young team, which will begin a 4 year plan towards the Olympics in Rio 2016.
