The newly named Orange Monkey Pro Team is delighted to announce a new deal with Polygon Bikes for 2013. The team will start the season with a strong team of 5 riders - including 2 exciting new signings - competing internationally throughout the world.
Polygon Bikes are one of the most up and coming brands on the world scene with top world class Mountain bike free riders Yannick Granieri and Sam Reynolds as well as professional Road and Downhill teams. The Indonesian brand now looks to push into Europe on every level and we are thrilled to be a part of such an exciting venture said Paul Beales, Orange Monkey's PR Manager.

Orange Monkey Pro Team will race the Cozmic RX29 3.0 29er Mountain Bike and compete as a UCI world team for the third year in succession, concentrating on the UCI World Cup Series, as well as selected European events & the British and South African National races. The team will finish the season in Malaysia at the Tour of Langkawi.

Head of marketing at Polygon Bikes, Yustian Nimara, commented "we are excited to have Orange Monkey Pro Team on-board for 2013 season and we believe with their experience and attitude towards racing at the highest level it will bring us lots of good inputs towards product development and consistent push in young athletes development."

Orange Monkey Pro Team manager's Paul Beales and Will Cooper both have high expectations going forward, "After re-evaluating our position in the winter we believe that our goals are very much achievable and we expect to have our athletes compete in both the Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games in 2014 and 2016. Having Polygon Bikes involved at the start of this new 4 year plan is fantastic and we look forward to a great future with this team."

Two new exciting additions to the team are the Serbian National Champion and World under 23 athlete Jovana Crnogorac and British first year Junior athlete Billy Harding.  Jovana is one of the most exciting prospects in the world and at just 20 years of age is a real promise for the future.  Billy has proven throughout his time in the Youth category that he is a born winner, taking the British National title in 2012 and most recently being selected, as a Junior, for the Cyclo-Cross World Championships.

Orange Monkey Pro Team is proud to announce the re-signing of David Fletcher of Great Britain, Rourke Croeser current African Continental & South African U23 National Champion and Ben Roff of Great Britain to complete a strong young team, which will begin a 4 year plan towards the Olympics in Rio 2016.

The team are very excited to announce that they will shortly be revealing the headline sponsor for 2013.

XCracer is delighted to be sponsoring the Orange Monkey Team in 2013 and we will keep you up to date their progress.
