THE DEVIL'S MTB CHALLENGE 2012

Red Kite Events with Llanwrytd Wells Cycling Club and The Alternative Games are running their 2nd MTB enduro of year. The riding in the area is absolutely superb, loads of single track, lots of bed rock so hopefully what ever the weather throws at us the route will be 100% rideable.
Two weeks leading upto the MTB Challenge the Alternative Games are running other events, Red Kite Events and the Cycling Club where asked to run an event on the final day.

50k and 80k route options
Routes using some of the best tracks around Llanwrtyd Wells, the area has been popular for mountain bikers since day 1 of mountain biking in the UK. The riding in Mid Wales really is outstanding and a bit of a hidden gem. Come and experience superb trails and stunning scenery
1 food stop for the 50k route
2 food stops for the 80k route
Medics and mechanics on course

Event supported by the Welsh Assembly, Powys County Council, World Alternative Games, Llanwrtyd Wells Cycling club

Some of the route will be run on private land please do not ride the course before or after the event
Entry fees £20 before midnight July 31st, £23 from 1st August, £30 on the day
Red Kit Events aim to provide grass roots events but with a very well organised touch.
Camping as well as B&B accommodation in Llanwrtyd Wells - please contact the organiser for recommendations.
