Cefn Dyrys has been secured as the venue for Round 2 on Saturday March 5th. This privately owned wood above the Builth Wells showground is a bit of a local secret but has been used in the past for rounds of the National Points Series. It is amazingly quick draining so even after two weeks of heavy rain in the area, it is dry, fast and fun-definitely no slogging through the mud here!

The course will be based around the top of the hill, snaking up and down the knoll and will feature lots of fast, flowing singletrack through the trees. Short sharp climbs, the odd steep descent and maybe even a rock garden section will complete the course along with well surfaced forest roads at regular intervals to allow overtaking. Just three weeks before the first Round of the BMBS at Sherwood, this could be the perfect venue for anyone wanting to make an impact-it will certainly be fast, although more technical than Sherwood, and definitely fun! To top it off, there is also a 50k Enduro around an hour's drive from Builth on Sunday 6th www.wentwood50.co.uk to complete a good, hard weekends training-what better excuse to come and spend a weekend in Wales?

There are now less than three weeks to go until Round 1 on Feb 13th. Advance entries close midnight Feb 6th so get your entries in quick and save yourself some money!
