The longest day has been and gone, so it’s time to get ready for winter!
Plymouth’s XC scene will be busy again this winter with 2 doses of The Stinger Duathlon and 3 rounds of the Soggy Bottom Series at Newnham Park.
We’ve moved the Soggy Series back a little, to avoid clashing with the cyclocross season. All three Soggy Bottom rounds will take place in early 2015.
Soggy Series Dates
Round 1: 11th January 2015
Round 2: 8th February 2015
Round 3: 8th March 2015

You can expect the usual great mix of leg busting climbs, followed by fun singletrack descents. The Soggy Bottom races will be aimed at riders of all abilities and ages, and are all about having fun.
Online entry will be available on xcracer very soon, and we are offering a full series entry discount if you enter all 3 rounds by 1st October 2014.
Full event information, including the race timetable can be found on www.fullysussed.co.uk

The Stinger dates
The Stinger is one of the UK’s toughest off road duathlons, with the bike stage being held on a ‘proper’ mountain bike course. In previous years, the format has always played into the hands of the mountain bikers, so we’re shaking it up a bit this winter.

Round 1 takes place on 16th November 2014  and will follow the classic Stinger format:
5km trail run / 20km mountain bike/ 3km Stinger run (steep hills, deep mud, tough running!)

Round 2 will be on 22nd February 2015 - we're calling it Runner’s Revenge:
8km trail run / 15km mountain bike / 3km Stinger run.

You can take on each stinger on your own, or share the workload with a friend.

Online entry for both rounds will be available on xcracer very soon, and there will be discounted entry for people entering both rounds.
