Before the London Olympics one of the catch words banded about was "Legacy".

For anyone in doubt it has materialised I suggest a visit to Hadleigh Farm, the site of the London 2012 Olympic Mountain Bike course.

The land which is leased from the Salvation Army by Essex County Council has been transformed from a Two Day sport spectacular into a fantastic, lasting facility that must be the envy of countries let alone counties.

Hat's off to those on the council and all those others that backed and worked on the scheme, seeing it through to the shining example it is today.

Which brings me nicely to the reason of this photo-report, Round 4 of the MS & G EASTERN REGION MTB XC SERIES 2015.

Truly something for everyone, this event caters for the Elite competitors and thrill seekers through to the budding future world champions that just happen to be under nine.

The spectators too can breath in the atmosphere, with excellent viewing positions and the ghost's of Olympic sporting excellence still on the wind.

Up for grabs along with series points, the Eastern Regional Championship categories.
