Welcome to the 2019 Lowther XC, promoted and run by Elan Events. After a fantastic event last year we have been working hard to bring you an even more exciting prospect this time around. If you are looking for a mountain bike cross country race in the North of England come and join us.

The event is a great way to kick off your season and will offer a demanding 5km course with plenty of elevation change to test all riders. The event is open to both serious and casual riders and has an extremely friendly atmosphere.

We are thrilled that Kentdale First Aid will once again be on hand to help us with any medical needs. We also have the brilliant National Series timing company, Smart Timing, joining us and offering chip timing for the event. We will also be able to offer catering and toilet facilities on site as well as ample parking right next to the event arena. This year we will be using a similar course to last years event with new additions based on rider feedback from the last event. Expect naturally technical terrain, sweeping descents and punishing climbs on this course with a mainly natural feel with the occasional feature thrown in. The course will be designed for riders of differing ability and any technical features will have an alternative line to them. This event is on private land that cannot be ridden at any other time so make sure you don't miss the opportunity to come race here. Come and try XC racing in the Lake District and enjoy racing at this popular venue in the Lowther Estate.
