The course has been measured by an Ordnance Survey map and deemed to be accurate. It is mainly a flat, hard course over farmland, farm roads and some seaside promenade. The course follows most of last year's route.

The race will start at 10.30am and be approximately 2.4 miles road run, 9 miles cross country mountain bike ride and 4.5 miles cross country run.

The course is suitable for spikes or fell shoes and has some water and dykes to cross.

REGISTRATION, START & FINISH
If you have your number you do not need to register at the start, please wear suitable clothing for the time of year as it can be VERY COLD in the exposed areas of the course. There is ample car parking in the car park or along the sea front. There are public conveniences and a snack bar/restaurant and pub on the site.

The start area is adjacent to the car park/café site at Minnis Bay, Birchington, and for those who have not been here before, this is located on the main seafront at Birchington.

THERE ARE NO CHANGING FACILITIES, SO PLEASE ARRIVE READY TO RACE.
