All competitors will be issued with colour map as standard, control point description and control card. Competitors are advised to use suitable map cases especially if it is wet.
There is a choice between a 3-hour competitive event. (course A) or a 2 hour fun/family event (course B)
Registration will open at 9:00am for the competitive and 09:30 for the fun 2 hour event. All competitors must leave the HQ within 30mins of the start of their event.
Your card will be marked with the time and your event will be deemed to have started.

All competitors should carry:
Water proof jacket
Basic first aid kit
Essential tools
Pen or pencil
Compass
Whistle
Water and food for the duration of the event.
We also recommend that a mobile phone is carried. A recovery service is also offered, if for what ever reason a competitor is unable to make it back to the sign on point.
Helmets must be worn at all times.

Prizes will be awarded as follows:
1. Best Solo
2. Best Team
3. Best Mixed Team
4. Best Generation or family team
5. Best Youth

If a competitor in unable to complete the course, they must make contact with the event organisers on the provided emergency number. Failure to do so may incur search and rescue costs which the competitor will be responsible.

There will be a £3 levy for entry on the day

All Entrants will have to be a member of the BMBO, entry is free and details are found on the website.
