A 2 or 3 hour Mountain Bike Nav event on Woodbury Common, Mutters Moor and the Bridleways between, with the English Channel as a spectacular backdrop.

Entries start from under £10 (with early bird discount) so get them in early to save a few £'s !!!

Trophies will be awarded to overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed riders and to class winners.

This event is the 1st round of the newly formed SouthwestMBO - MTB Nav League 2014 Courses:

A) A 3 hour Mountain Bike Nav (visit as many check points as possible within the 3 hour time limit) with controls scattered across the Common, Moor and the Bridleways between. or,

B) A 2 hour Family/Fun Mountain Bike Nav, the same area as the A course, just with a less exhausting time limit!!!! (more suited for beginners and Families with younger children)

To enter the event, if you are not a member of the BMBO, you will need to create a BMBO member's account on the 'JOIN NOW' button on the entry page.

Becoming a Member is free for Day-Riders, or £6 for Full Membership. Full Members get a £2 deduction on entry fees so if you intend going to 3 or more events it is beneficial to become a Full member.

Each entrant will need to have membership of either sort. For those of you who pre-enter, we will email a blank copy of the competition map the night before the event for you to get a feel for the area.

There will be a £3 levy for entry on the day. Registration from 9.00am -10.00am. Starts from 9.00am - 10.00am At Registration all competitors will be issued with a control point descriptions sheet and control card. When you are ready to start, your card will be marked with the time, your colour 1:25000 map showing all the Control points will be issued, and your event will be deemed to have started.

All competitors should carry: Basic first aid kit Essential tools Pen or pencil Compass, Whistle, Water and food for the duration of the event. We also recommend that a mobile phone is carried. Helmets must be worn at all times.
