Mountain Biking Racing at its finest. Comrie Croft is once again hosting the magnificent Hairy Coo mountain bike race, date for your diary is Saturday 18th October.
Part of the Drovers Tryst Festival, and again incorporating a round of the Big Tree Campervans youth MTB Series, the Hairy Coo is a great event ideal for all, with events suited to beginners, youths and up to and including top level racers and adrenaline seekers alike.
Grassroots XC Mountain bike racing at its finest, the Hairy Coo is a friendly fun event. Held on the purpose built trails at Comrie Croft, the day consists of three races designed to test your skills and provide plenty of racing thrills and spills for riders and spectators alike. Will we be including any of the new red? What will the course be? All will be revealed, on the day!
The Three races are: The Wee Race. an hour long blast on a course that's FUN but not too demanding. 11am The Bairns Race. where the youngsters get an hour to enjoy themselves on a trimmed down version of the Wee Race course. 12ish the Big Race, which is a test of fitness, speed and skill around a tough track, up to five laps 2pm
