What a beautiful day!  Autumn really is the best season - when it's warm and sunny!  A great turnout of over 100 senior riders saw the Checkendon course in perfect condition with clear blue skies overhead and dry grippy conditions undertyre.  Lots of smiles too - even from the dnfs who fixed their bikes and went out again!
Isaac Pucci gave Series Winner, Chris Minter a tough race in the Elite category with Gary Record third. Isaac and Chris shared the lead throughout the race only for Isaac to pull away in the final 100 metres and score the only sub 12 minute lap time of the day.  Isaac's first Elite win and an early sign of more for next year.

Emily Iredale wrapped up the Elite Female Series with another win.

Paul Brennan scored his second win of the series and secured the overall series Expert Male title.

Kevin Holloway won the Grand Vets race on the day but Kim Burrows took the series with a third place behind Simon Ansell.

Paul Lloyd completed a clean sweep of wins in the Masters Series with Jason Painton taking second in the series despite a puncture in the final round.

Sheena Booker won the Open Female race.  Joseph Reid continued his good form from Round 2 to take the Open Male race win today but only second in the series after David Pusey.  Dan Hughes completed the series podium pushing down Stuart Selwood and Owen Peat into 4th and 5th in the series.

Susan Parker and Phillip Pearce came to take the Sport race wins, while James Tapp beat Richard Rose by 1 minute on the day to take the Series win.  Morgan Jones took second to secure his series third place after a puncture in Round 2 denied him the series win.

Lewis King scored another Veteran race win, but after missing the first round, conceded the Series title to Chris Clark.  Jason Emery took second on the day and second in the series after a dnf at Round 2.

James Saunders took the Youth series with another win.  Ben Broadhead won the Juvenile race.

In the Team competition Banjo Cycles now have a commanding lead over Pedal On after fielding 13 different riders over the series.
The Series trophies will be presented at the Night Race Finale on Saturday 2nd November.  Get your lights on charge!
