SouthernXC 2014 Series Finalised

At last we have the five venues finalised for 2014 and with one brand new venue and 2 oldies returning this year is going to build to a great finale.
Round 1 16th March at Wasing
Round 2 6th April at Checkendon
Round 3 27th April at Crow Hill
Round 4 18th May at Porridgepot Hill
Round 5 8th June at Queen Elizabeth Country Park
Five varied courses with an exciting finale at a brand new XC course at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park near Petersfield in Hampshire. These woods have been used for gravity enduro for a number of years and the team at QECP Collective have found a great course using the best of the timed runs linked with more singletrack and fireroad. It's a bit 'hilly' but you're always moaning the courses are too flat!
We've gone for a compact series this year to avoid the 'last round' syndrome and we'll be doing double points for the last round (just like F1!) so with that and a new venue you have no excuse for not showing up!
Also, this year, we have decided to increase entry fees by £1 across the board apart from Under 13s, Juvenile and Youth categories. Venue fees have increased this year and the trailer needs repair! Entry fees haven't gone up for 3 years so we've held off for a long time.
Online entry for the races will open soon, and the races are being added to the BC calendar as this goes out.
