Winter is here, and with it comes your first dose of The Stinger Duathlon, hosted by Fully Sussed

Round 1 on Sunday 16th November will be the classic format of this popular event. Competitors start off with a beautiful 5km trail run, jump on their bikes for a 20km mountain bike blast, then finish it up with the painful 3km Stinger run. Don’t be fooled by the distances – The Stinger is a tough event!

You can enter as a solo competitor, or if you’re allergic to running, find a partner to do that bit for you and enter as relay pairs. Either way you’ll have a great day out and we guarantee you’ll be itching to come back for more at round 2 in February.

Online entry will close on Wednesday 12th November at midnight, or when entries reach 120 (whichever comes first). There may be on the day entry if the event has not sold out – keep an eye out for updates.

All competitors receive an event memento, and for the first time in the event's history, there will be a small number of TShirts available for sale - get in quickly if you want one!

The Pickled Lemon Catering company will be onsite providing tasty and healthy pre and post race fuel.
Other luxuries include car parking on hardstanding, flushing loos and running water, a warm(ish) building to huddle in, transition racking and a professional results service.

Already know you want to enter both rounds?  Look out for the discounted entry when you enter online.
