The countdown’s on to TORQ in your Sleep, Gorrick’s hugely popular August Bank Holiday Weekend XC Endurance event, headline sponsored by TORQ Fitness producers of market leading, exceptional quality performance nutrition products.
Taking place on Sunday 27 August at Minley, Hants there’s 12 hour riding for Solos, Pairs and Teams between Noon and Midnight. Riders can also opt for 6 hour categories which start riding at 3pm and finish at 9pm. Fat Bike & Single Speed have their own categories too.
The renowned 8 mile figure of 8 course features some riders’ favourite sections with a few surprises thrown in and includes the Bridge to Nowhere, that comes alive after dark with sound and light.
This friendly, buzzy event has great facilities including plenty of toilets and a riders’ HQ with trade stands to browse in the Arena. The catering on site has plenty of choice and is open from early until late. In short, with FREE CAMPING nearby from Saturday 26th to Monday 28th there’s everything you need to make a great weekend of it with your family, friends and supporters.
Because Gorrick are so well sponsored there’s always a packed prize giving with plenty of podium trophies and prizes for category winners and also loads of spot prizes to be won at the prize givings at the end.
Entry is by online pre-entry only. To make things easy, Pairs and Teams can be entered with just a name, as the individual riders don’t need to be finally confirmed until the day of the event at Registration.
If you like the sound of this, then full details, online entry and event updates are at www.torqinyoursleep.com.
