This bloke, like me, obviously hasn't ridden enough in the last few months, and now, like me, he realises the enormity of the race.

Perhaps Edvard Munch's inspiration for 'The scream' was under prepared idiots racing at the Kielder 100. I'm hoping that once the training miles in my legs have left my body, sheer bloody mindiness will take over. That's the plan anyway.

Anyway, I can't wait for it! Despite a week off the bike due to a twisted knee. Never start playing squash after a 10 year lay off from the game, 3 weeks before the longest mtb race in Britain!
